City of Niagara Falls Activity Subsidy Fund
This program, known as “Niagara Falls ALIVE”, is administered by the Recreation Committee and provides subsidies to individuals requiring financial assistance to participate in community recreation opportunities.
Funding requests are considered throughout the year for both organized team activities as well as for individual recreation pursuits.

The Canadian Tire Jumpstart program focuses on helping individual children become involved in organized sports and recreational activities to help them develop a healthier lifestyle in their early years. Assist kids in financial need aged 4 to 18.
Applications are accepted twice per year through Project Share. For information call 905-357-5121, ext.25
Matthew Daniele Memorial Fund
This fund was established in memory of Matthew Daniele to keep his memory alive by assisting families in need to access sport and recreation opportunities. Generally, the fund is accessed through referrals. Local organizations contact the fund on behalf of families in need.

Bob Gale Recreation Fund
Provides financial assistance to individuals from Niagara Falls of all ages who otherwise would not be able to participate in active and healthy lifestyle activities funding can be used for activity registration fees, equipment costs, and transportation costs.
An application form must be completed and submitted to the Bob Gale Recreation Fund Committee, c/o City of Niagara Falls.
Funding will only be provided to residents of and taxpayers of Niagara Falls.
Niagara’s ProKids supports the participation of eligible children and youth from birth to 18 years of age in the activity of their choice.
Families who are eligible for child card subsidy as determined through child care income testing or who are in receipt of social assistance or are a tenant of Niagara Regional Housing are eligible.

The KidSport program helps underserviced children and youth break through the social and/or economic barriers preventing or limiting their participation in organized sport and physical activity. Accomplished through the distribution of registration fees and equipment grants.
Preference is given to athletes being introduced to sports for the first time. Grants are for eligible children 6-17 years of age. Eligible activities must be affiliated with a member organization of the Sport Alliance of Ontario. Contact 416-426-7171, or e-mail: firstname.lastname@example.org
