So you have decided you want to be a Coach.
How do you go about it?
Well, you have to ask yourself, what level are you interested in coaching. The level that you coach will depend on the coaching pathway you take!
Make Ethical Decisions (MED) is a course that is required for all coaches who take LTPD Coaching Courses.
Coaches are required to attend either the mandatory in-class MED course, which runs approximately 3 hours in length OR the MED Distance Learning - Remote Access version OR the MED Home-Study. This course is an NCCP course, and will show up on Coaches transcripts on NCCP's "The Locker". Please remember that the MED Home-Study is NOT the online MED Evaluation.

The NCCP Make Ethical Decisions (MED) course completion can take up to 15 days to appear on a Coach's transcript.
PLEASE NOTE: Make Ethical Decisions Evaluation MUST be completed to finalized completion of the Make Ethical Decisions Course.
Associations requiring proof of completion can contact the Coaching Association on Ontario (CAO) for temporary proof.
Respect in Soccer provides information on a coach’s natural influence over their player, and the role they play in a child's enjoyment of a sport or activity. The program also provides coaches with tools to evaluate their own behaviour. Ontario Soccer Association believes that the soccer experience for all involved should be built on a foundation of respect. Respect in Soccer helps us promote these values through this simple and convenient on-line tool. The Respect in Soccer Program is being implemented to provide an enhanced sport environment for our children.
