Due to the Province Wide Lockdown effective on Saturday, December 26th, the Niagara Falls Soccer Club office will remain closed after the holiday shutdown until the lockdown has been lifted.   As we did back in March, we will continue to work from a home location.

All Indoor Training for all our TITANS and NIAGARA FC players/teams and programming will be suspended as of December 26th, until further notice as per Governing rules.  (see below)

Please rest assure that we will continue to work to prepare for the upcoming season for all our members, to ensure that we can provide safe play and programming.  We are certain that there will be a modified format of league play for all our Rep/Festival players and programming for all our House League members and will keep you all posted on that in the months to come!

All of us here at the Niagara Falls Soccer Club look towards 2021 with great hope and confidence, and will stay on course to strive to provide quality and safe programming for all players in Niagara.

From our families to yours, we would like to wish all our members and their families a very Happy and Safe Holiday and all the best for everyone in the new year!

Date:           Dec. 21, 2020

Subject:      Government of Ontario pauses current Public Health Framework, All In-Person Soccer Activities suspended until further notice

Ontario Soccer, in consultation with Canada Soccer and the Government of Ontario, continues to monitor the most recent developments surrounding the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the resulting public health crisis and Ontario Soccer’s Return to Play Plan.

The Government of Ontario announced today that it has paused its Government of Ontario Framework and announced a Province-Wide Shutdown for multiple sectors of the economy.

These new restrictions are greater than the previous Government of Ontario Framework and the Province has made specific changes to the rules for outdoor recreational facilities and team sports.

As a result, Ontario Soccer has made the difficult decision to suspend all in-person soccer activities until further notice.

This Government directive is effective Saturday, December 26, 2020 at 12:01 a.m.

Commencing on December 26, 2020, the impacts of these limited-time measures will be evaluated by the Government of Ontario over 14 days for Northern Ontario and 28 days in Southern Ontario. The Government of Ontario will determine if it is safe to lift any restrictions or if they need to be extended at that time.

Ontario Soccer will continue to update the membership as further changes are made.

Ontario Soccer requests that all member organizations ensure they know which Public Health Unit they are located in. Click here to find your Public Health Unit.

Member organizations are encouraged to stay in contact with their local Public Health Unit and Municipality during this period.
