Subject:      2022 Match Official Accreditation Clinics and Annual Registration now open

Ontario Soccer has announced that the 2022 Match Official Accreditation Clinics and Annual Registration are now open.

Match Official Accreditation Clinics

The 2022 Entry Level and Small Sided Clinics will open at 3 p.m. on Jan. 24, 2022.

After a successful response in 2021, clinics will continue to be offered in a hybrid online and in-person model.

Multiple candidates from the same household are eligible for a discounted fee on the second (and any additional) clinic registrations.

The first student will pay the full fee. Any additional students will pay a reduced fee of only $40.00.

Potential students can go to OntarioSoccer.net/recruitment for information on becoming a Match Official and how to register for the 2022 Clinics.

Clubs and Districts are eligible to receive discounts when registering 15 or more students (combined Entry Level and Small Sided).

For more information on the discount process please click here and select ‘Bulk Discounts for Clubs and Districts.'

Club and Student User Guides are available on OntarioSoccer.net.

As well, members are encouraged to review the recent Student Review of 2021 Clinics. The response to the 2021 clinics were overwhelmingly positive.

Annual Registration

Annual Match Official Registration opens on Jan. 24, 2022.

A current registered Match Official that refers a new student for an Accreditation Clinic is eligible for a one-time $20.00 referral rebate upon completion of the Clinic by the student.

Registration fees and rebate information can be found on OntarioSoccer.net.

Information Webinars

Only 55 per cent of Match Officials who registered in 2019 returned for the 2021 season. This shortfall impacts everyone in the game.

Webinars will be scheduled and announced in February. Please click here to take a short survey, register and join our open discussion and share ideas.

Please review all documents carefully and if you have any questions please contact:
