Niagara Falls Soccer Club (NFSC) is proud to announce that Canada Soccer has officially renewed our Canada Soccer National Youth License! This renewal reaffirms our commitment to providing the highest standards of soccer development, operational excellence, and an inclusive, safe, and accessible environment for all members.
Canada Soccer recently announced the latest group of clubs meeting the Standards for Quality Soccer, as well as those renewing or maintaining their licenses. In their official statement, Canada Soccer emphasized the significance of these recognitions:
“We are very pleased to announce another group of clubs who have met the Standards for Quality Soccer as well as those who have achieved a higher category of recognition. We also recognize a significant number of clubs that have renewed or are maintaining their licence and continue to embody operational and technical excellence. We appreciate our licensed clubs’ commitment to providing safe, fun, accessible and inclusive, and developmentally appropriate programming, which are the principles that underpin the Canada Soccer National Youth Club Licensing Program. Canada Soccer would like to thank our Member Associations for their support in implementing the Club Licensing Program as well as the clubs for their hard work in raising the standards of soccer in Canada.”
The Niagara Falls Soccer Club (NFSC) has been an integral part of the Niagara Falls community since 1959. We pride ourselves on building a sense of community and providing a high standard of life-long soccer opportunities and experiences for youth and adults alike. In September 2020, we proudly acquired the Canada Soccer National Youth License, becoming the 52nd club in Ontario and the only one in our Region to hold this distinction. Additionally, we secured the Ontario Player Development League (OPDL) Franchise License, integrating our programs into the Canadian Soccer/Ontario Soccer Talented Player Development Pathway.
NFSC remains the only club in Niagara to have earned this prestigious designation, a testament to the dedication and hard work of our coaches, staff, players, and community. Our continued recognition under this program demonstrates our commitment to developing young athletes, fostering a positive soccer culture, and ensuring the best possible experience for all involved.
