Niagara Falls Soccer Club is thrilled to announce that we’ve been selected as a Club Participant in Year 3 of the TELUS She CAN Coach program!

This national initiative, led by Canada Soccer and supported by TELUS, is designed to:

• Support women in coaching

• Reduce barriers to participation

• Advance gender equity in soccer

As a club-based initiative, it creates pathways for recruiting, developing, and training women coaches at the grassroots level.

As one of 54 clubs across five provinces—British Columbia, Manitoba, Ontario, Saskatchewan, and Newfoundland & Labrador—our club is proud to join this network, helping to grow the game by empowering more women to step into leadership roles on and off the field.

What is TELUS She CAN Coach?

TELUS She CAN Coach is a national coach recruitment, development, and training program for women. Key features include:

• Access to Canada Soccer’s Grassroots Coach Education Program and Safe Sport training

• A national support network with mentorship, webinars, and ongoing guidance

• Opportunities to achieve “Trained” status and become confident, capable leaders in soccer

Who Can Apply?

This program is open to girls and women ages 15 and up who are interested in starting their coaching journey with us here at NFSC.  Spots will be limited.
