EE Mitchelson Park recently received a new turf field to accommodate athletic users of the park. This project was made possible through the joint partnership between the City of Niagara Falls, Niagara Catholic District School Board, The Niagara Foundation for Catholic Education and the Niagara Falls Soccer Club. Mayor Jim Diodati and many dignitaries were on hand for the grand opening ceremonial ribbon cutting on October 13.
