Underage Players Eligible to Trial for U13 OPDL (born 2014)

Talented players younger than U13 (2014) may be considered for OPDL trials if their development would be enhanced by competing at a higher level. This decision must be supported by a formal technical assessment conducted by the team’s Head Coach and the club’s Technical Director, and requires approval from Ontario Soccer.

✅ Only players who demonstrate readiness technically, physically, mentally, and socially will be approved to play “up.”
✅ Teams may include a maximum of three underage (or overage) full-time players on their seasonal roster.
⚠️ Players cannot participate in OPDL matches unless they have been officially approved through Ontario Soccer's Player Movement Evaluation process.

Think your player may be ready to play up? Ask us about the evaluation process and eligibility for trials.
