OPDL Coaches
OPDL head coaches are the highest level of youth coaching in Ontario. All NIAGARA FC OPDL head coaches have to meet the following requirements:
- In the process of attaining the Canada Soccer Youth License
- Respect In Sport For Activity Leaders
- Making Headway In Soccer
- Rule of Two
- Making Ethical Decisions
All coaches must also be a non-parent, be paid for their duties on the bench, and they can coach with a group for no more than 2 years. All of this is to help create a fair and high-level experience for all players
