    Niagara Falls Soccer Club

The Niagara Falls Soccer Club, in operation for 60 years, is a Not -for - Profit Youth Sports Organization which provides quality Soccer programs for both Boys and Girls in the Niagara Region. It is primarily Volunteer run with programs ranging from Recreational House League for kids, Co-Ed, U3 and up, Adult Recreational Soccer, Youth Competitive/Festival Travel Soccer for U8 Boys and Girls and up, and  Adult Competitive.  We also offer a variety of Camps and Clinics for Soccer Skill and Technique, Goalkeeper, and Referee Development all at the centre of focus on a seasonal basis.

Our main goal is to keep people of all ages in the Community interested and participating in soccer. To achieve this, we work closely with other organizations in our City as well as many funding organizations to assist families that may not otherwise be able to afford sports for their children.

The Niagara Falls Soccer Club continually looks to promote health, fitness, a sense of team spirit, friendly competition and most importantly FUN! The club also has access to a brand new Turf field, six grass fields, a swimming pool, two tennis courts,  two parks and a splash pad.

We are very excited to see the community's growing interest in our Club and programs! The Niagara Falls Soccer Club truly appreciates everyone's continued participation, support, and generosity in making soccer one of the most popular and well-loved sports in the area.

Ontario Soccer Match Accreditation Clinics now Open!

By Christina Stranges 04/08/2021, 2:45pm EDT

For all our members who are interested in becoming a Match Official for 2021, Ontario Soccer has just opened the Match Official Accreditation Clinics for the Entry Level and Small Sided Clinics.

These are conducted online and can be worked on at your own pace.

For more information, please read the memo below sent out by Ontario Soccer.

    ------------------------------------------

Ontario Soccer is pleased to announce that 2021 Match Official Accreditation Entry Level and Small Sided Clinics are now open and new Match Official students can register on Ref Centre. Ontario Soccer has received an increased level of interest from many new students for this custom-built system.

Highlights of the new system include:

    • These clinics will no longer have a minimum or a maximum number of participants.
    • There is increased flexibility with self-guided online modules which can be worked on at a student’s own pace.
    • Students are only required to attend one webinar.
    • Ability to attend any optional open topic webinars, which will run weekly in April.
    •

Ontario Soccer recommends that our member organizations review the Club and the Student User Guides to become familiar with the improved system. Each guide has step-by-step instructions, with the appropriate screenshots for clarity, to ensure it is user friendly.

For our member associations, these new clinics will mean less administrative requirements, plus the ability to follow each student’s individual progress and to connect directly with them via the Ref Centre enhanced direct email system

If a student started but did not complete the course in 2020 and did not receive a refund from the Member Association, they already have been provided with a free clinic registration for 2021. These students have been contacted directly with instructions on how to register.

Please also note that the new clinic system was communicated through bulletin I2020-098 in the Fall of 2020.

Please review the Club and Student User Guides and if you have any questions afterwards, please contact:

Alex Di Noia, Coordinator Match Officials Development and Community Education

Nicky Pearson, Sr. Manager, Match Officials Development and Community Education
